Hi everyone! One of the biggest questions I receive is "How hard is this going to be?" My answer, "It's really not that hard." The reason is that there is a wide range of choices for gluten free dishes now. From all sorts of different breads, to cookies and cakes, to even a wide choice of pizzas. So please don't lose heart if you've recently found out that you are not going to be able to consume gluten. While it may seem overwhelming at first, it's not hopeless. Find someone that has been doing this awhile and ask them to help you. Ask them to go to the grocery store with you and show you products they have tried and had success with. Go to the library and check out cookbooks. There are a ton of websites, too!
Something else to remember, be specific in your questions. If you are someone that loves noodles with Alfredo sauce and think you'll never get to eat them again, tell your helper that you want to learn to make it gluten free. Don't be afraid to try new things or to fail for that matter. There are going to be some good surprises and then others that make you wonder, "Why in the world would they even sell this?!"
Remember, I'm here for you. Email me, Facebook message me, or tweet me!
